So my birthday is on Sunday-November 14. I'll be 28. I have always been one to get excited about birthdays. It's more than a just one day affair-often a 3 or 4 day extravaganza. This year I'd be okay to not leave bed.
It's going to be mellow for sure. Tomorrow I am having breakfast with my mom and then in the afternoon R and I are going to be spoiled at the spa. I got R a gift certificate for his birthday in August for a massage and he's only just now going. When he booked his appointment, he booked me a deluxe pedicure at the same time. I am very much looking forward to having pretty toes. I can't reach them so well these days and as much as I love R he tried a couple times to paint my toenails and he's just not good! :)
Then Sunday is a surprise day. There is talk about R making me breakfast, then we're going out somewhere, then we're coming home for dinner and a movie.
I don't care what we do. I just don't want to have to think about anything. This was supposed to be different. There should be gifts from Stella this weekend. There should be a laughing baby to wake me up. No gifts, no amount of pampering, no nothing will make this day complete.

Happy Birthday! I hope that you get a little enjoyment out it. My birthday was horrible so I don't blame you for wanting to curl up and sleep the day away. I will be thinking of you!
